The BANQUETING HOUSE, a splendid 17C Palladian Inspired building designed by Inigo Jones. Outside it Charles I was executed in 1649 on a built platform from an upper window. TRAFALGAR SQUARE dominated by Nelson’s column where Nelson’s statue celebrates England’s naval power. HORSEGUARDS PARADE where a daily ceremony of the Queens’ Life Guard takes place at 11 am. ST JAMES’S PARK, London’s oldest park where one can observe plants and wild life on the lake leading to BUCKINGHAM PALACE, the magnificent Queen’s London Residence. ST.JAMES’S PALACE, converted in 1532 to a Royal Palace .
